Isaiah Thomas wants to complete the final game of his career on an overseas court.

Thomas posted on X that he is interested in playing in overseas leagues and proving to everyone that he still has the ability to compete.

There are many leagues to choose from, and he specifically mentioned the Australian league and the Puerto Rico league.

Thomas said that if he gets the opportunity, he can deliver a dominant performance in whichever league he joins.

He wrote in his post: “I want this experience! Go overseas and handle my opponents.”

However, his goal is not to score 50 points every game.

Thomas explained that by “handling opponents,” he means making all the key plays needed to win and competing for the league assist leader title.

His last NBA stint was with the Suns in 2024; his most recent professional game was in the 2025 G League, where he scored 40 points in his final appearance.

The 37-year-old was hired by the Boston Celtics as a scout in May this year.

It would truly be a way for him to end his basketball career according to his own wishes. 💪
