Shandong High-Speed Men's Basketball Team Finishes Third at CBA Summer League Qingdao Station, Wang Lanqin Scores 15 Points, Xie Zhijie Gets 11

On the evening of September 6, the Shandong High-Speed men's basketball team defeated Shanxi Fenjiu 86-80 to finish third at the 2026 CBA Summer League Qingdao Station.

In the first quarter, Shandong shot 5 of 9 from three-point range and led Shanxi 29-22 by seven points. Shanxi launched a comeback in the second half and took a one-point lead at the end of the third quarter. However, Shandong regained control in the fourth quarter and eventually won the game by six points.

In this game, five Shandong players scored in double figures: Wang Lanqin had 15 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists; Wang Zheng had 14 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists; Zhu Mingzhen had 13 points, 1 rebound and 2 steals; Tao Hanlin had 11 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assist and 2 steals; and Chen Linjian had 10 points and 4 rebounds. For Shanxi, Liu Chuanxing was the top scorer with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. Xie Zhijie, who was loaned from Shandong High-Speed to Shanxi, played 15 minutes and 54 seconds and recorded 11 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist.
