Kyrie Irving and Curry are regarded as two of the most talented guards in the league today. Over the years, many fans and media outlets have compared the two players. Recently, former NBA player Terrence Ross was asked on a program who is better and more talented between Curry and Kyrie Irving.

Terrence Ross said, "I have to say Stephen, but I also have to admit: from the perspective of an individual basketball player's ability, Kyrie is undoubtedly better. We all know Stephen always relies on that three-pointer in crucial moments, and he is elite in that area. There is really nothing you can do."
"But Kyrie, brother, I have never seen anyone like that... I have played against Kyrie. He scored 60 points, brother. And he did not even finish the fourth quarter."

Terrence Ross played 11 seasons in the NBA and was also a solid NBA player. On the show, he mentioned the March 2022 game between the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets, when Kyrie Irving shot 20-for-31 against the Magic and scored 60 points in just 35 minutes. He scored 41 points in the first half, and with about eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Kyrie left the game and did not return.
"That was the hardest 60-point game. If Curry wanted to score 60 or 50 points, he would definitely make 11 threes, and the pace would be extremely fast. He catches and shoots, and his movements are clean. But Kyrie, he dribbles forward, isolates, uses pick-and-rolls... that is really frustrating, brother. I watched him go against Mo Bamba. That guy has one of the longest wingspans ever, brother."

"He held the ball at the top of the key with his right hand, delivered a powerful move into the opponent's chest, then moved the ball over to the left side and finished easily. All I could say at the time was: 'Yeah, it was one of those nights when he was in an incredible rhythm, and we could not stop him.' We double-teamed him repeatedly, but he turned those two double teams into new pick-and-roll opportunities, shook off the slower defender, and calmly hit fadeaway shots."
"So I just thought, brother, there was nothing we could do."

Kyrie Irving had opportunities to score more points, but he did not do so. Terrence Ross believes that if judged by individual basketball ability, Kyrie Irving is definitely a more talented player than Curry. Ross specifically highlighted Kyrie's offensive skills and compared them with Curry's. However, Ross also said that Curry is a greater player than Kyrie Irving.
"So, I have seen him do some crazy things. But at the end of the day, brother, Stephen has made 4,000 threes, won four championships, and two MVP awards, including one unanimous MVP. So I have to choose Stephen."

In terms of honors and achievements, Kyrie Irving clearly cannot match Curry. Curry has won four championships, two regular-season MVP awards, one Finals MVP award, and holds countless three-point records.
As for Kyrie Irving, his most notable honor and achievement came during the 2016 Finals, when he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers complete a comeback from a 1-3 deficit and win the championship.
Kyrie Irving can be considered immensely talented, with more talent and ability than Curry in some respects. However, Kyrie has not achieved as many honors and accomplishments, making it difficult to compare him with Curry.
