Guard Averaging 18.1 Points Changes Teams as Xinjiang and Ningbo Complete Foreign Player Priority Renewal Rights Trade

According to media personality @Jiangnan de Cheng, Xinjiang Men's Basketball Team and Ningbo Men's Basketball Team have reached a trade agreement for the priority renewal rights of foreign player Treveon Simpson. Simpson will join Xinjiang Men's Basketball Team in the new season and continue competing in the CBA league.

Treveon Simpson is 183cm tall, weighs 84kg, was born on February 11, 1997, and plays as a guard. In the 2025-26 season, he appeared in 44 games for Ningbo Men's Basketball Team, averaging 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 51.2%, 29.0% and 74.6% in the three categories.

The completion of this trade means Xinjiang Men's Basketball Team will add a player with consistent scoring and playmaking ability to its guard rotation. Simpson delivered an all-around performance for Ningbo last season, with per-game statistics close to a double-double, and he is expected to provide more options for Xinjiang's backcourt.
